Where is Hidden Oaks?
Hidden Oaks is located in Ribchester, in the heart of the Ribble Valley, Lancashire. We're close to Longridge, Blackburn, Clitheroe and Preston, making us a convenient countryside setting for couples and guests travelling from across the North West
Is there a maximum or minimum number of guests?
There is no minimum guest or minimum spend requirement. We can host 100 day guests and up to 150 in total during the evening.
What is included in the 'Exclusive Wedding Weekend' package?
-Exclusive venue hire, including the Oak Barn and use of the Indoor Ceremony Room or Under the Oaks romantic outdoor ceremony area for up to 100 guests, from 3PM the day before until 12:30PM the day after.
-Three licensed ceremony areas.
-Exclusive access to the venue from the afternoon the day before to mid-day the day after.
-Tables, chairs, linen, glassware and cutlery.
-Chair sashes, wooden table centrepieces, foliage on the beams and bar in the ‘Oak Barn’ reception room.
-An integrated sound system in the Oak Barn.
-Fully licensed staffed bar the evening before your big day and on the day of.
-Exclusive full access to the Spa & Pool area for all guests staying in our on-site accommodation. (Treatments are available at an additional cost.)
-A two-night stay in three woodland lodges, each sleeping 2 guests.
-On-site accommodation available to book for up to 77 guests. (With Woodfield Farm, sleeping an additional16 only 10 mins away.)
-10% discount to all cottages booked more than 12 months in advance.
-Support from our Wedding Coordinators, who will assist with your plans and oversee your special day.
Can we have an outdoor ceremony?
Yes. Hidden Oaks offers indoor and outdoor ceremony options, in three beautiful licensed ceremony spaces, allowing you to explore the setting that best suits your plans. When it comes to choosing your ceremony location, we completely understand that the weather can be unpredictable! There’s no need to make a final decision too far in advance. We can keep both options open and make the call during the week of your wedding, based on the forecast. If you’re really hoping for an outdoor ceremony, we’re happy to keep our fingers crossed and give it a go right up until the morning itself.
I want to get married in a church, which are closest?
A church wedding can be followed by a celebration here at Hidden Oaks. Our village churches are St. Wilfrids, Ribchester, St. Saviour's, Stydd or Ss Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church. We're also close to St. Peter's Church, Stonyhurst.
Where can our wedding guests stay?
Venue hire includes 3 woodland lodges (sleeping 6 in total.) Additional accommodation is available, from small cottages with hot tubs all the way up to 16 sleeper homes with games rooms and tennis courts. When a wedding is booked, you will be provided with a discount code to share with your guests so they can book accommodation at a discounted rate.
Can we use the spa during our wedding weekend?
Hidden Oaks Spa and swimming pool offer additional opportunities to relax during your stay. For everyone's safety, the spa and pool are closed during the wedding ceremony and evening celebrations.
What options are there for catering?
We don’t offer in-house catering services but we have a full catering kitchen and a list of caterers who offer a wide variety of options to suit your preferences and budget.
We can be more flexible with evening catering and have a list of suppliers to recommend.

Do you offer any drinks packages?
Our fully staffed bar is included within the venue hire. We have three drinks packages available; Acorn, Sapling and Oak. We understand that every couple has their own preferences, so we’re very happy to work with you to create a bespoke drinks package tailored specifically to your day. Sorry, we don't offer a corkage option but can work with couples to source particular drink options.
Is a whole weekend the only option?
While we specialise in exclusive wedding weekends, we are happy to explore other options. Please contact us to discuss further.
Are dogs allowed?
Pets can join you for your ceremony and drinks reception! However, please note that dogs are not permitted inside the venue our on-site accommodation.
